Rene’e James, MSPT, OCS, CMP

Rene’e grew up in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. She attended North Dakota State University receiving a B.S in Exercise Science. She then attended University of Minnesota for her masters in physical therapy graduating in 2002. Sports, injuries and rehabilitation have guided her to study physical therapy. Rene’e is an orthopedic certified specialist who specializes in running related injuries and biomechanics. She sees many running enthusiasts that are working towards an easy 5K fun run as well as those that are training for New York or Boston marathon. She has assisted with triathlete clinics and participated in the training of high school and college runners.
During Rene’e’s career she has had the opportunity to work in a multitude of physical therapy settings including 3 years of contract work around the United States. Settings included working in a level I and II trauma hospital at UCI medical center with patients in ICU and medical surgery floor to large hospital settings with post-operative total joint replacements Additionally, Rene’e spent time in Reno/Tahoe area focusing on spinal related injuries.
As concussion awareness has been increasing, Rene’e most recently has been focusing on post concussion management and treatment following minor head injuries. With her athletic background Rene’e has been fortunate enough to work with athletes from multiple sports. She enjoys running, water skiing, downhill skiing and vacations with her husband and two daughters.
